Faire Danser les ours vol.2

(engl: Make the bears dance)

Exhibition, Petite Galerie de la Cité internationale des arts,  septembre 2023, installation with 6 videos screened on wall and glasses and played on TV.

«Through an evocative audiovisual installation, the exhibition Faire
danser les ours invites us to explore the landscapes of love, a universal
human experience that is at once intimate, confidential and fragile. The ex-
hibition takes the form of a polyphonic installation, organised in successive
layers, where the voices respond to each other and interweave. It’s like a
jigsaw puzzle in which we try to piece together the various constituent ele-
ments of a love relationship, isolating them from one another to grasp their
full complexity. Playing on the reversibility of points of view through auto-
biographical, fictional and documentary works, Ninon Lacroix deciphers
the reality of the emotional experience and the construction of the narra-
tives that result from it. At the heart of this approach is the artist’s focus on
children’s words and the seriousness with which they take love.»
